1. Wanting to establish the run but giving up because we wear out the defense
2. Getting into obvious passing situations
3. Moaning and Groaning at the lack of progress

We need more talent.

A trial run is exactly what this is....as a preseason game.

Preseason games are always boring. Coaches keep the game plan pretty simple in order for players to "knock the rust off" and they don't wanna tip their hat as to what they have dialed up for the regular season as well. Not to mention, for the most part the playing time is dominated by guys who will either be 3rd stringers, have very short NFL careers or will be doing something like selling insurance in the next 6 months.
