If the right-wingers here can concede there were some right wing insurrectionists, can the rest of you acknowledge that antifa played a role in fomenting dissent? And, at the very least, acknowledge that the FBI was undercover and present that day?

I only care about this because it shows that there were a lot of moving parts. You take a mob with an angry sentiment, then include violent bad actors and agents encouraging people to do something illegal, and you have the perfect conditions for an insurrection.

Anything is possible, but I don't see any proof of it. I just saw a bunch of crazed, right wing, Trump supporters who actually believed they could change things by creating a riot at the capital building. I know crazed "Trumpers," because I am surrounded by them here in Ohio. They still fly their Trump flags, display their Trump signs and are ready to throw down and physically fight people if you say anything negative about the man. Literally. I was at the grocery store about a month ago and two grown men were screaming at one another, because one insisted that Trump is still president. I left before I could see if it came to blows. It was no surprise to me to see what happened at the Capital that day, because where I live, it's full of rabid Trump supporters that act like that. Maybe some people live in areas where they don't see the "radicals," but I do. Could there have been Antifa people there to stir up things? Maybe. Could there have been undercover government agents there in the crowd? Anything is possible, but I find this very far-fetched. I'm surrounded by Trump supporters who don't need "stirring up" by any outside forces. They already run very hot and it only takes one wrong word to push them over the edge.

There's plenty of proof. Two known antifa members were in the Capitol building streaming about how they "did it." They were arrested. Two FBI agents have already testified that had infiltrated various movements. They had to be there that day to testify. All I am saying is, there is a sentiment of the right that has been riled up by double standards in this country, and it's not going to take much to push them over the edge. I don't deny the thousands of Trump supporters that were there that day and angry, but you mistakenly attribute their presence to Trump. Trump is just saying what they already think. Most people there that day advocated for peace. They are angry, but they love their country. I saw a few do really dumb things, though. And those dudes need to be punished. It can't be one sided though. The left has to start owning their turds and applying an even standard to the right and the left.
