The point is, the better the team around the QB, the better the chance of that team's success are regardless of where the QB comes from.

 

Taking Matthews at #3 wouldn't be my first choice, but no doubt about it he would be a very important part of making this team competitive for a long, long time if we did take him.

 

If we went OL with the first round, (which I do not want but for sake of discussion) the guy we'd want is Robinson. He's the better run blocker/ mauler of the available OT's of this draft and would fit either ORT or ORG perfectly. We already know that Joeckel for whatever reason isn't best suited on the right side, so you'd go Robinson here, who would be.
