The point is, the better the team around the QB, the better the chance of that team's success are regardless of where the QB comes from.

 

Taking Matthews at #3 wouldn't be my first choice, but no doubt about it he would be a very important part of making this team competitive for a long, long time if we did take him.

Joe Thomas and the Browns ring a bell? He's is probably the best tackle in all of football. Their defense is really good, they have Gordon and Cameron but why are they so bad? It's because of the QB. Until Russell came in, the Seahawks were average. You need good players around the QB but the QB is most important by far. We need to find one and history shows that the best way (not the only way) is to draft one in the 1st round.

 

I totally understand its a team game (look at the most recent Super Bowl) but taking an offensive lineman in this years draft would be the worst move we can make. There are only 3 option in this draft I think for us and that's Clowney, Mack and Teddy.
