The increased space means the best players are more likely to be resigned, leaving less talent on the market.

 

That's out of the FO's control, but I'm sure they'll get blamed for it anyway.

 

I expect them to be a bit less active than they intended to on the first few days as a result.  In turn, we'll probably be more active in the settling down period where we could pick up a  lineman, linebacker, and pass rusher or two.
