As long as the posters' contributions are within the scope of the code of conduct, whether hating on the team or not, why would a mod need to intervene?

Can you show where any mod has punished or even discouraged a poster for not hating on the team or management? I'm not seeking to defend mods; I'm genuinely curious how you arrived at the conclusion that positivity is discouraged here.
