Two reasons I'm not on the "Karlaftis train." He's too inconsistent. One play he looks like a wrecking ball and then he goes unnoticed for the rest of the game. The other reason is that he plays DE in a 4-3 scheme and we play a 3-4 scheme, where we don't just need a pass rusher, but someone with experience at the position who can drop into coverage as well. Outside of Thibodeaux who is just a genetic freak, I'd much prefer a college 3-4 OLB over a 4-3 DE. To each their own though. |
