I haven't taken the time to try getting my head around that one yet. Obviously Quarterman, Jack and Moses should be in camp, but who else do they add? I guess they have to take a swing in FA like they did with Wilson.

My perception is that a 3-4 defense doesn't use a MLB. It uses 2 ILB positions. Speed is important here but so is the ability to thump a runner. A MLB in a 4-3 Must have size as well as range to get from the middle to the sideline fast. He is usually going to be a thumper as well, prolly more so than speed. The ILB in  3-4 defenses need that same speed to the sideline but must have the instincts/ reaction time to fill  the hole at the line of scrimmage and be agile enough to avoid blockers coming through that hole. Agility becomes a strong suit for them. I have said it before, I love Myles Jack being on our team but he is miscast as an ILB, honestly he was miscast as a MLB in the 4-3 as well. His best year was as SAM opposite Telvin's WILL.  To me that is the question. Can Myles play one of those OLB spots? Say the one not matched up with a TE, or can he cover a TE. I just feel if he stays here he should play on the edge but he is too big and slow to be a box safety so OLB it would have to be.
