I know a guy who downloaded and distributed that stuff.  I only know because the feds caught him and convicted him of it.  You would have had no idea, he wasn't weird or anything.  He didn't abuse anyone, but he might have eventually.  He was probably abused when he was a kid.  He's going to be in a halfway house of sorts for the rest of his life.  Good, I say.

Kind of like how Ted Bundy was such a nice guy? Because that's what everyone said about him, to include his parents who had no clue he was a sociopath and a murderer until he was arrested and the truth started to come out. 

The guy you knew 100% abused everyone whose photos he downloaded as well as the filth/people he distributed it to who in turn 100% abused those victims again. Supply and demand. 

Your moral compass is way off course if you think that guy was "not weird." And don't bother trying to argue the point. It will just make you look worse than you already do. If you found out he downloaded pictures of your kids would you be so blase about it?
