There have been multiple tweets and stories like this. They are trying to make it acceptable now for some reason. Maybe they are afraid of Maxwell talking or something.

The guy you knew 100% abused everyone whose photos he downloaded as well as the filth/people he distributed it to who in turn 100% abused those victims again. Supply and demand. 

Your moral compass is way off course if you think that guy was "not weird." And don't bother trying to argue the point. It will just make you look worse than you already do. If you found out he downloaded pictures of your kids would you be so blase about it?

His wife filed for divorce as soon as she could and made sure he would never see their kids again. And he won't, not until they're 18 anyhow.

You guys really love rushing to conclusions about people. He lost his wife, his kids, and all of his friends and he'll be on parole basically for the rest of his life, and I think that's a good thing.
