Yeah I think Hackett made lemonade out of lemons here. Not sure how people have such bad memories of the guy.

I liked most of what he did.

He did take his foot off the gas a few times and that ticked me off at the time. 

I'm not going to assume any of the following:

• His offense and philosophy is exactly what his OC would run here
  
• He would micromanage his OC
  
• He was or wasn't influenced by Marrone in some decisions in his Jags tenure prior
  
• He is ready to be a HC after bouncing around for 12 years
  
• He is NOT ready to be a HC after 12 years in the league
  

I really just don't know much about the guy beyond that kooky nervous energy he had in pressers in 2016-18, which I kind of enjoyed oddly, but I think might be weird after multiple losses. He was fairly creative offensively, but I disagreed with some of his situational calls, and I borderline hated his approach in the 2nd half of the AFCCG.
