First of all, nothing about the season with Meyer at the helm should be given one iota of significance. We barely know anything about the working conditions these coaches faced under that tyrant. What we do know portrays him as an [BLEEP], so all bets are off when it comes to that body of evidence.
With the team out of playoff contention, Bevell stepped in and started to turn things around. The players didn't give up, started to have fun and produced 2 wins, albeit the refs took one of those away by not reviewing Marvin's TD against the Jets.
And as of this point, the entire coaching staff can be retained. Cullen has an interview scheduled with Indy, but no offer yet. Keep Schotty and some of the position coaches.

And to reiterate -- Super Bowl quarterback Matthew Stafford would have stayed in Detroit this year had Bevell been given the head job over Dan Campbell. Think about that for a minute when you consider whether Trevor would be in good hands.

With conditions as bad you say do you really want a coach leading this time who cared more about his pay check than the team and standing up and speaking out against what was happening, that doesn’t sound like a leader to me. How could listen to him in a meeting preaching team first knowing he did nothing to stop what was going on last season
