Head Coach Candidates (Merged Threads)
|
Pederson is a good coach that had an extraordinarily bad year in one of the toughest environments to play and coach in. I have no problem with his qualifications. I was excited about the Leftwich/Wilson tandem, but I get it. Bradley - First time NFL HC. Caldwell - First time NFL GM. Marone - coached less than two seasons in Buffalo before a very awkward departed. Meyer - First time HC.
My disappointment in Pederson/Spielman is that they’re already compromising on the way in. That’s just no way to start a new job…any job. I know I shouldn’t fault them for that, but I’d just like to see every candidate tell Khan where he can stick his Baalke until he gets it through his thick head. Not just with Baalke, but with the past 10 years in general. |
