Yup and if they've won a Super Bowl or not. They put way too much value on if said players have won a SB, even though the HoF is an individual award and not a team award like winning a SB is. 

I mean just look as these stats below, one player is in the HoF and talked about as one of the great WRs to play the game and the other's name is never even brought up. A huge part of that is because of where they played and because of Super Bowls. It's sad.

750 catches, 11,904 receiving yards, 65 TD - HoF

862 catches, 12,287 receiving yards, 67 TD - Completely forgotten about and never even mentioned

These two WRs are Michael Irvin and Jimmy Smith.
