My first thought is we're good at cb and need help in other areas. And in the past teams have passed on what should have been everyone's target because they were "good" at that position. And you always regret that.

You don't pass on blatant, positional, freaks.

Again, I haven't really familiarized myself with the draft yet, but a 6'3, 200lb, CB jumps out at me. Who didn't give up a TD in college? You can't pass up on that and #1 isn't a reach for such. If he runs anywhere in the 4.4s he makes a strong case.

he's a 1st round talent, he's not a #1 overall talent, even in this weak draft. Throw on the tape of the CFP semifinal game if you want to see why he shouldn't be in contention for the top 5 picks.
