My feeling is that when you trade multiple high draft choices for a player, and then sign that player to a huge new contract, you are getting one player for the price of two.
That's why I don't like that method of acquiring players. People think Christian Kirk was too expensive. But look at the total cost of Davante Adams or Tyreek Hill. It's a huge contract plus multiple premium draft picks. |
