I like Peter Tosh which is still mainstream in the grand scheme of pure Reggae fans. Additionally, I love when people like Sean Paul mixes hip hop and reggae overtones ..... that said, if I'm exposed to a reggae band in the streets of Kingston Jamaica, I'd be in heaven but if I get out locally here at Jax Beach, I don't want to hear the same ole beat over and over again as they don't have the talent to diversify. Perhaps my response should have been .... sick of mainstream Reggae and local Reggae. |
