So you're saying Garrard was never a good quarterback?  I never particularly cared for Garrard.  I think the money went to his head and he got fat and out of shape and was never the same.  But if you say he wasn't ever a good QB, I seriously question whether you know what you are watching.

Garrard suffered from Crohn's disease, and it had gotten worse later in his career.  Very painful.  He did not get 'fat and out of shape' because the 'money went to his head'.  You may have forgotten/overlooked some of his interviews in the late 00's when he addressed this.

Funny how it happened the very year after he got a big contract after their playoff run.  He came in HUGE the next year.  You don't GAIN weight from Crohn's.  As a matter of fact, it's just the opposite.
