He's a smart guy, maybe a bit of a diva but it's childish to hold contempt for a guy who put it all on the line for a team that decided he wasn't worth paying.

So faking a back injury is putting it all on the line.

Without Jalen Ramsey that 2017 team doesn't see the playoffs, he wanted to leave when he realized that he had no respect from the higher ups. Put it into a real-life situation for yourself and think about how you'd respond. Let's say you're a shelf stocker at walmart or something.. you stock 10-15 pallets worth of freight every night, you're the fastest worker in the store.. and then all of the sudden the guy who takes an extra 20 minutes on his 15 minute breaks, does half the work he's supposed to and dosen't add any value to the work place gets a promotion or a large pay raise and you don't... and on top of it your manager (Tom Coughlin) disrespects you further after a "spat" with your supervisior (Marrone) whom chalked it up to nothing.

The Titans are already on the decline. They currently rely heavily on Derrick Henrys ability to simply take over games, when he dosen't we've seen how inept they are. And because of how they are running him into the ground i'd suspect him to have a bit of a fall off within the next few seasons maybe even sooner.
