Some of the individual groups taking credit for things have a history with the community (or with law enforcement in their community). This is sort of like with street gangs. They may know which gang did what, but when it comes down to proving who in the gang did what, that is trickier.

Historically, the FBI has said that they stay away from anarchist groups, preferring to let individual police departments do the work because they are local in their activity and makeup. Because anarchists (understandably, given their organization) aren't well organized nationally, this strategy seemed to work for them in the past. That seems to be changing with the group blogs and content aggregators used by anarchists to organize nationally and internationally. You wonder though how many of the groups have an informant as a member. Some of them at least could be expected to be infiltrated somehow. If so, the national level enforcement could be saying, "Lets wait until things escalate on both sides, then we can nab both the prolifers and the prochoicers. They'd be assuming that eventually there will be a prolife Kyle Rittenhouse.

hmmm, interesting. So are they saying they are going to wait for someone to get hurt really bad before they act? I mean, the threats are pretty serious sounding. You would think broadcasting threats like this would be a crime in of itself. What am missing?
