Uh, no. 

 

If we were stocking up on 1st, 2nd, 3rd and maybe even high 4th rounders, I'd agree...that that is the right way to winning/ building in this league. 

 

Odds are, maybe ONE of the entire lot of "all these extra late rounders" becomes anything of impact. 

 

 

Look at the way Dallas built its SB teams in the 1990's. That wasn't with an influx of late rounders, it was with a bunch of HIGH draft picks. 

 

Same with many of the better teams over the past X number of decades. 

 

You need to get really lucky per statistical analysis to find impact players via later round picks.
