He's had time. He still sails passes or doesn't put enough air under the ball for his guy to run underneath it.
Taylor's having a career year at RT. He's been sacked 12 times this year which is tied for 3rd best overall. This is all in a pass centric offense primarily ran out of the gun.
His receivers are not catching everything thrown their way neither in fairness to Lawrence. Agnew hooped a deep shot earlier this year.
However, again, missed a deep pass to Robinson a week or two ago. Missed some earlier opportunities this year to both Jones'.
You're saying we're not missing a deep threat and that guys are open, yet, its the pass blocking failing to give him time.
I think the reality is him making mistakes early and then getting gun shy from that point onward in conjunction with the lack of a truly capable deep threat that commands respect and can separate at the top.

I have a busy day today - but if I have time later in the evening I'll post the clear evidence of Trevor being forced to evade pressure with no pocket to step into on LOTS these downfield or intermediate routes.
It's super obvious in the all 22 end zone angles.
Jags OL is 5th worst in the league in pass pro win rate and that isn't fantasy.
It's not the ONLY factor here, but it is happening too often to let Pederson open up that part of the play book.
Take your time. No rush. Looking forward to it though. Again, not saying the line has been perfect. However, it's just too easy to say it's obvious or that it's just one particular group that's to blame.
Lawrence has been wildly inaccurate at times and in the NFL, even the top tier QB's are often required to stand in the pocket until the last possible minute and take a shot or two to the chest to make a rainbow pass for a huge gain or a bullet for a first down on third and long.

Shatley is an average center and Fortner has been horrible this year. I also think Little should be our starting LG. I always liked the coaches that said they would put their best 5 out there and if Little isn't one of the top 5 lineman on this team he is a bust.
I think Fortner is gaining invaluable lessons this year and going into next year it'll make him a pretty damn good Center. I think it was the right decision in the grand scheme of things. Shatley now has to fill in where Bartch was. Agreed on Little.

I’m beginning to think Little can’t play inside. Otherwise I think he’d be starting at LG right now.
Yes. I agree here as well regarding Little. Certainly concerning that they haven't figured out what to do with him yet. He's a 2nd RD pick collecting dust. The fact that they traded for Van Lanen and then just picked-up another Guard from San Francisco is concerning.
However, I don't coach football and I don't know if it's easy to tell a prototypical tackle that usually plays more upright to go and put his fingers in the dirt and get prepared for a NT and DE running right at him inside.
At any rate. Nobody wants to see a 2nd RD pick riding the pine.
