Jags lose by 10.

Excellent prognostication, Mr. Nostradamus.

Except Lawrence was great today.

Given their performance against Philly, 10 felt about right against a very good team. I agree, Lawrence played great today notwithstanding all the crap he had to endure from every direction. He held it together while swimming upstream the entire game. In some ways, today's game served as a better forge to temper his steel than a win, although that tends toward a moral victory argument. We don't want moral victories, we want wins.

I'm just absolutely flabbergasted by the seemingly intentional effort by this team to lose. Two, TWO calls for ineligible player downfield. Two, TWO missed FGs. Couple that with ticky tack calls and refs clearly in love with Kansas City, and you have the perfect recipe for a loss. It elicits bad memories of the game when Blake Bortles literally couldn't hit the ground with the football. You keep asking yourself just what else in hell this team can think of to sabotage itself. Mike Caldwell is not the answer and Doug seems to have his head up his [BLEEP] on occasion.

However, with that being said, even though we continuously shoot ourselves in the foot, there is not that feeling of hopelessness in the past. The ingredients are there, it's just a matter of getting them in the right proportion and to stop confusing salt for the sugar.
