I think people are just anxious. We want Allen to be elite and pay him a second contract. So far he hasn't earnt that. I think people are just worried he'll be another good but not great player that leaves after his rookie deal.  And probably becomes very productive for another team. Becausejaguars. Also he's the most tradable asset we have.

Good?  Right now, he's not even a good player.  As a rookie, he looked like he could become a great player.  But since then, his performance has slowly withered and died.  Right now, he's just a body out there taking up a spot.  It's a mystery what the hell has happened to him.

He'll get another year, because of the guaranteed salary for the 5th year option.  But, dang, what in the world is going on with him?
