You know how people say you should never draft a RB in the first round? Am I the only person on earth that feels the same way about tight ends?.. Like don't get me wrong, i'd give up a 1st for a guy like Travis Kelce all day long but how often are scouts right about Tight Ends coming out of college. It always feels like the first guy taken winds up being worse than someone in rounds 2-4. 

Idk, I was a huge fan of Kyle Pitts coming out and even tho I think he's a good TE I don't think he's worth his draft stock..

first question, no way, the cost to move that far up would be crippling.

second, I think it's better to say never draft [position] EARLY in the first. Don't forget Etienne was a first rounder, and I'd rather have someone of his caliber than a Devin Singletary that you can expect in the middle rounds. Same goes for TE and OG, they have to be SUPER special to command a top ten or top five selection, but if I'm picking where we are this year, anything goes.

Agreed, take the top guy.  The only 3 positions I wouldn't draft in the 1st is QB, MLB, and RB.  If one of the the top QBs is still there trade back and pick up a extra 1st or 2nd.  There isn't a MLB in this draft better than Lloyd imo so we don't have to worry about that, and the only RB is Robinson who will be gone when we pick so we can just go true BPA.

I think we end up taking Breese, Washington, Foskey, or Torrence.  Just how I feel Doug and Baalke likes certain players.  How would you guys rank those 4?
