Quote from the Fox article:
"Violence broke out in Los Angeles Tuesday night as abortion rights protesters lobbed "rocks and bottles" at Los Angeles police officers." How is this not 'violence directed at a person'?

In this case, the age of an article makes no difference. If violence was reported in the article, and can be verified as true, then it happened. It's not like some kind of psych or sociological study whose results might be meaningless in 30 years.
