My ex husband was that way. He was a really smart guy but had some issues that knee capped him. Combat in Iraq did him wrong. When he had his midlife crisis/post retirement breakdown it wasn't pretty and I barely made it out (relatively) unscathed.

I'm not a fan of anyone who thinks they're superior to others. We all have our issues. Just because mine doesn't look like someone else's doesn't make me better than them. I get particularly annoyed when people speak of things they know nothing about as if they do. Head knowledge pales in comparison to experience.

But....back to the Trump show.

I'm sorry to hear that for both him and you. Mikesez really suffers from plain old hubris, it seeps out of every post. The worst kind of person is the one who feigns humility in the hopes that he can one up those with whom he engages. I'd rather he just drop the mask entirely and be himself; he's done that on occasion and it was refreshing to see the real him post.
