While I don't really care for the Wingard contract either, it's laughable to say we're deeper at safety than corner. We have our outside guys locked down, we resigned Trevaugn Campbell and i'd bet my life savings we draft 2 more corners in the draft.

Who do we have at safety?
Jenkins? Average/meh
Cisco? Could be good, but currently average
Wingard? is barely a drop off when he steps in for Jenkins. 

Herndon is outclassed by the two guys infront of him on the depth chart and he WILL be replaced in the draft as a slot corner, and you don't give fully guranteed contracts to 5th stringers imo.
