I seem to be butting into off topic conversations but just thoughts.

I’m a registered Republican, I’ve never voted for a dem and probably never will. I voted Trump 2016, 20. Thought he was a good president, didn’t love his personality but thought he did an excellent job in office. Consider how things were in 2017, 2018. Groceries didn’t cost a fortune, people were working, things were good. Compare that to now and everything is expensive. Subway costs me $10 for the sub and the guilt trip card machine forces me to leave 20% tip, with tax and maybe a drink that’s a $15 meal at subway. I miss 2018 and it’s $5 boxes at Taco Bell. And the feeling that our currency had some value.

Ramblings aside I really lost it with Trump when DeSantis was re-elected. Instead of just saying “congrats” to Ron he thinks he should remind people that he won FL by more votes than DeSantis…. Really? This alone made me start to not like the guy and since then I feel it’s been enforced even more. Perhaps this is me admitting I was wrong though I didn’t pay much attention to the nonsense before. With this type of attitude it’s just becoming very difficult to support the guy.

I live not far from Palm Beach. Earlier I was watching the local news in which the topic was Trump supporters lining the streets in support. The media Ofcourse does a great job of making these people look like old, racist, uneducated white people. As I watch these people no matter how much I like a politician I’m not going to go out there and wave a Trump flag around. I realize that both sides have their strong bases but I won’t be one of those people. These are human beings, I won’t treat them as if they’re God.

Minutes later the broadcast changes to Trump flying out of Palm Beach to NY. Most of us spend some of our savings or have to budget for a flight. Trump has his own plane which reads “Trump” , reminding everyone know who owns it. Meanwhile people cheer him on while this guys ego flights higher than his plane.

I say this because I believe myself to be an overall reflection of the Republican voter base. If I feel this way surely do many others.
