We need more independent prosecution.  Low's efforts to launder money for political influence required him to recruit many people, many of whom must have tipped off the FEC and the FBI right away.  But of course Obama's prosecutors sat on that info.  Then four years later, the records were that much harder for Trump's people to delve into.

But if you think there wasn't any crooked person like Low or Pras helping raise money for Trump, you're deluding yourself. At least Trump's DoJ had some willingness to go after such people while Trump was still in office.

The solution is there needs to be permanently appointed prosecutors that investigate the executive branch officials and who only answer to Congress.
