My assertion was that a $100M add-on for 4 year deal is a tough pill to swallow. Both sides may be amenable to that number, but it's still a lot of money.

But, what is the amount of money the city would lose if the games are played somewhere else while the stadium is being renovated?  Obviously, if the stadium was closed for a couple of years, they would lose rent on the stadium, in addition to the Ga/Fla game being played elsewhere.  Plus all the other businesses that wouldn't make the usual game-day money while the team was out of town.

So you'd have to subtract those amounts from the $100 million extra to do it without moving the team out.  In addition to the fans not wanting to go to Gainesville to see the team play.
