The I-95 proximity makes it attractive from a convenience standpoint.
The neutrality of the site makes it attractive compared to Orlando's history as a hotbed for negative Jags media.
(and to a lesser degree - good for the anti-gator folks in JagLand, but Gainesville doesn't really bug me and I hate the gaturdz.)

I think it comes down to what they can work out on expense and seating options closer to the action than the existing track grandstands, though some of them will be undoubtedly utilized.
