A small town has 1 high school.

There's only 1 in Brunswick.  The other is in unincorporated Glynn County.
You're saying in small towns people look out for each other, and someone is likely to chase you down and pull a gun on you if you try to rob a liquor store. And that's good.
But we know Brunswick is a place where people are likely to chase you down if you look at a pile of construction materials too long. Even if you don't take any.
Is it that second high school that causes us to cross that threshold from "good ol boys" to openly corralling and murdering joggers in broad daylight?
