This seems bizarre. The DOJ is suing SpaceX because they have not been hiring asylum seekers and refugees. It’s surprising that industries operating with sensitive and proprietary technologies are forced to hire anyone who walks across the border and gives a story to claim asylum. 

I ran across an article a few months ago about Border Patrol agents finding asylum seekers from China walking across the border who were highly educated with science and aerospace backgrounds. Our laws literally say that aerospace, and other companies working with sensitive and proprietary technologies, must regard them for employment since they are asylees, and thus have the same rights as U.S. workers. 

I work with ITAR and EAR stuff all the time. I find it shocking that non U.S. citizens are allowed to work in such close proximity to it. 

Crazy.
