It is embarrassing and sad that 74 million Americans were duped into voting for a blatant criminal. 
He's been a lying, cheating, scoundrel his entire professional career long before politics and it didn't magically stop when he ran for, and took, office. His chickens have finally come home to roost, however. 

What's even worse is that around 60 million of those misguided voters I mentioned still think he's worth their vote. 

Of course, he's going to lose in a landslide (again), but those 60 million or so are going to be so disenfranchised, our political landscape will be screwed for a very long time. 

Dude spent millions and millions of dollars convincing folks that didn't like American policy modernizing with the rest of the planet that they could just believe "alternate facts" (lies) and that journalists were just liars out to manipulate them. (which is a gross mischaracterization of the real issue with modern journalism and its lesser infotainment cousins that dominate our media) 
 As a result - many who felt their values were being diminished by modern culture took the bait hook, line and sinker.

Just thought I'd provide you some context for that word you haphazardly attributed the misuse of to 81 million voters. Because - I can assure you 81 million "liberals" don't "like to call anyone on the right deplorable." 
That is a load of bull [BLEEP]. 
Like many other left leaning voters, I have a high percentage of friends and family that vote differently than I do. They aren't deplorable. And neither are many conservative politicians.  I seek out rational policy coming from across the aisle. Like many others I want the politicians getting my vote to have a spirit of compromise in order to move us all forward. That trait exists in many politicians regardless of party, but is in a dire short supply these days on the whole.
