DUDS
Press Taylor: That play calling was absolutely atrocious. From not punching it in from first and goal to the one yard line to just flat out having an ineffective game plan. We were touted as having an elite offense. We just put up 9 points and 0 touchdowns against a good but not elite KC defense. The run game vanished Trevor Lawrence: It was not all on him but he also played poorly today. From the numerous near misses early in the game to the numerous near misses in the back of the end zone. That last drive he could of run to easy pick up the first but he chose to try a high risk pass rolling to his left to Ingram on the sideline. He did not play terrible but a far cry from Pat Mahomes. Receivers: Numerous drops contributed to Lawrence poor performance. Kirk dropped several key catches I noted. Ridley was a ghost most of the game. Offensive line: It is a problem. This was another factor on Lawrence performance. Too many times Lawrence had less than 3 seconds in the pocket. Jones was just wrecking havoc to the offensive line. I am an old school believer that it starts up front The offense: The numbers will show how bad it was. Nothing really was in sync today. 9 points is the story! STUDS Walker: He was a force today. He was in the backfield consistently while drawing several holdng penalties. His play at one point, forced Taylor to the bench. Caldwell: He had a great game plan against the Chiefs. When Josh Allen went out lat in the game it nulified it but for most of the game it was a good game plan. Cisco nearly had 2 ints today. Defense: This defense played a great game today. They forced 3 turnovers on top of that. They were the only reason this was not an [BLEEP] kickin'! We show less advertisements to registered users. Accounts are free; join today! |
