I don’t think he anticipated how badly our O line would be manhandled, the effect it had on Trevor and the resulting offensive paralysis. That game was handed to us several times and we didn’t capitalize - one of the cardinal sins of football, or any sport.

Yes, yes, we lost to the defending champions and one of the most dynamic QBs to play the game, but we didn’t have to. Quite honestly, I believe Doug got caught flat footed.
