A very interesting possible rule change..

"A final proposal was put out by the <a class="" href='http://www.sbnation.com/nfl/teams/indianapolis-colts'>Colts</a>, and would allow home teams with retractable roof stadiums to open or close the roof at halftime. Currently, the roof position cannot be changed after the opening kickoff."

 

IMO This would be very benefitial to teams who have the option to open/close their roof.. for example: Home team leading by 14 at half time and it's raining out side, open the roof and make it more difficult for the opposing team to pass the ball. Talk about home field advantage.
