Good point. But the real point here is not that Manziel had all those rushing yards, but that Manziel had the same/more yards passing than Bridgewater, "PLUS" all those rushing yards. 

 

Listen, I agree with you AIsJagsFan, it would be one thing to say that Manziel and Bridgewater have the same amount of 'total yards', but then admit that most of Manziel's were gained on the ground.

But it's just the opposite in fact. For it's another whole thing entirely to say that statistically Manziel matches up almost identically to Bridgewater in passing-yards, yards per attempt, total QBR, etc, AND on top of all that, has nearly ten-times the rushing yards.

 

The real point of KYjaggy's OP was about passing though, and I think we can say confidently that both Teddy and Johnny are great passers, in fact their collegiate passing-statistics match up more eerily than may people realize, as shown by the diagram I posted above. Whichever one the JAgs pick is a win-win IMO then, and will give us a better 'passing-QB' than we've had in years.
