This year has pretty much affirmed that the only way you are successful in this league is by winning in the trenches. I don't want anymore "star" receivers. I don't want "high value" skill players. Moving forward, in the draft and free agency, money and high picks should only be spent on the D-Line/OLBs and the O-Line. If we switch to a 4-3, only on the D-Line and the O-Line, no linebackers. Until we have absolute studs across both lines, then the team will suffer. Trevor isn't an elite QB that can carry a bad team to the promised land like Brady. We've seen what a good offensive line can do for game managers (see Brock Purdy), and we've seen how a good defensive line just absolutely shuts down everyone/everything. We have our QB. Now 100% of the focus should be on both lines.

I don't believe Baalke will do this. He can't draft well. He can't bring in impactful free agents on the lines. He has to go.
