2 of the most replaceable positions in running back and linebacker were taken in the first 4 rounds. On a team that was clearly devoid of depth/talent at Dline and Oline.

Wasn't it RB coach Parmalee who said Tank jumped off the screen during film study leading up to the draft?  If he had significant input on this pick, he shouldn't be relied on for such things any longer.

That said, it's still relatively early in Tank's career to pass judgement confidently, so I'm willing to give him into early next year.  However, in my brief study of him right after his selection, his measurables and highlights led me to believe he was a similar back to ETN, but just not quite as good all the way around.  You don't have to be some prototype runner in the 3rd round, but I'd like to see at least one potentially elite trait whether it be speed, or hands or tackle breaking or just give me something.  I think RB was and still is a need behind ETN, but I'm not confident at the moment Tank is anything more than a #3 or #4 depth piece at best and you should aim higher than that in the 3rd round.  Hopefully he can assert himself with what's remaining of this year or show out early next year and become that really good #2 guy that we want/need him to be.
