I dont think the players will like what Doug is saying. He is saying its all on the players and the coaches are doing no wrong and is putting them in the best positions to succeed. I disagree with that

This has been my take as well, he's doing everything to protect Press and Caldwell and its going to cost him his job again. Maybe not this year but if this team starts out next year the same I'd be shocked if he makes it through the whole season.

Doug is a great coach and one of the best imo. But what makes him worse than what he even is, is his talent evalutaions/wanting his guys and picking subpar assistant coaches and not holding anyone accountable.
