The horrible askance treatment of positional value would somewhat negated if he picked guys that made impact in year one or two at the lesser positions he focused on - but he still royally screwed up the positional value.

#2 TEs and #3 RBs should never be taking precedent when your intent is too start Ben Bartch and Luke Fortner.

Oh I believe in positional value but I also believe in getting the best football players.  You let the draft come to you.  If you let the draft fall to you positional value meets need more often than not. 

  Torrence was a first round prospect that fell in our lap last year.  It happens every year studs fall right in our lap and we pick players that suck.  Most teams have needs at most spots. 

   If you draft a TE in the 2nd he should be a number 1 TE.  We should have 2 number 1 TEs right now on this offense.  Even if we didn't have Engram and it was a huge need I'm not taking a TE in the 2nd if he's not a true starting TE.  If you're taking a TE in the 2nd he should be your future at the TE position.  We should have a Gronk and Hernandez situation right now at TE.  

  A lot of RBs taken in the 3rd are number 1 backs.  I actually wanted Brian Robinson last year but Baalke's board is trash. We should have a beast RB behind Etienne right now if we were drafting a RB that was the BPA when we picked in the 3rd.  If he's coming aways with studs at those positions we would be sitting much better but these guys are 3rd stringers.  Their board sucks [BLEEP].
