  Torrence was a first round prospect that fell in our lap last year.  It happens every year studs fall right in our lap and we pick players that suck.  Most teams have needs at most spots. 

   If you draft a TE in the 2nd he should be a number 1 TE.  We should have 2 number 1 TEs right now on this offense.  Even if we didn't have Engram and it was a huge need I'm not taking a TE in the 2nd if he's not a true starting TE.  If you're taking a TE in the 2nd he should be your future at the TE position.  We should have a Gronk and Hernandez situation right now at TE.  

  A lot of RBs taken in the 3rd are number 1 backs.  I actually wanted Brian Robinson last year but Baalke's board is trash. We should have a beast RB behind Etienne right now if we were drafting a RB that was the BPA when we picked in the 3rd.  If he's coming aways with studs at those positions we would be sitting much better but these guys are 3rd stringers.  Their board sucks [BLEEP].

Taking a #2 TE over a starting guard (especially when your guards suck out loud) is a major [BLEEP] up in positional value. 

Funny thing is, you went on and on and on about how critical it was for Doug to have his two TEs catching passes because it was central to his scheme. (which is bull [BLEEP] - he did that for a couple years because he had one receiver worth a damn and whiffed on other receiver acquisitions) 

Go ahead and tell me what your predictions were for Brenton Strange ? 

Didn't you say he and Engram would combine for like 1500 yards and 10 TDs or something? LOL

If we had 2 good guards and we were set at the guard position I'm taking the starting guard over a 2nd string TE even if we didn't have Engram.  I'm taking the best player and who I have higher on my board. I absolutely think Doug is at his best with 2 stud TEs and why Doug wanted Strange.  With that said Doug isnt calling the plays anymore so it really don't matter anymore.  Doug's play calling was very similar to what Reid does with his offense, I don't see that with Press.  I hated the Strange pick more than any pick this past year, it won't be hard to find I hated we passed on Torrence.  I don't ever remember predicting anything from any position but we should close to have 1500 yrds and 10 TDs if we are taking a TE in the 2nd to pair with Engram.  If I thought Strange was capable of those numbers I would of loved the pick
