Okay with me, but it's pretty obvious that if we act like this, we're going to want to fire everybody about every 2 years, because more than occasionally, GMs, coaches, and players make mistakes, and teams do occasionally take a dip.  This is either a massive overreaction or people have just been waiting for the team to falter so they can go back to saying this guy or that guy ought to be fired.  We act like, as Jags fans, we are entitled to perfection.  Well, it's probably not going to happen, no matter whom we employ as GM or head coach.  It's a severe lack of perspective.

I was listening to Lou Holtz one time and he said something like, "At first, they say they just want to be competitive.  Then they say they just want to win some games.  Then they say they want to win all the games.  Then they still aren't satisfied, because now they want to win them all BIG."  

Two years ago we were the worst team in the league, now we're leading our division and possibly about to win the division for the 2nd straight year.  But we want to fire everybody because, what, we're not perfect?  We want to fire everybody because we haven't gone from last place to the Super Bowl in 2 years?

Our starting QB can’t play because of multiple injuries behind a very weak O line, the run game is nonexistent and we’re hanging on by a thread in a year when we should have made great strides, especially in a weak division. Why? Because Trent Baalke didn’t address the huge obvious holes on our team. 

Your logic is akin to putting bald tires on a new car and then wondering why people are unhappy when they go flat and the car is beginning to incur damage from all of its blowouts.

‘What are you guys complaining about? The car made it to Pensacola. Last year it could only get to Tallahassee. I put a better stereo in it!’

When the car is fully capable of making it to California.
