See that’s the rub here. Baalke has been here far longer than 2 years. 

The roster is better. That’s true but the Jags will no longer have the most cap space or the best draft positions so long as Trevor is here. They need someone who is a truly good at evaluating talent. The Rams haven’t had a 1st rounder in forever and yet they keep hitting on talent because of McVay and Snead. 

I like some of the stuff Baalke has done but if the decision were up to me, regardless of how the season plays out, I’m firing Baalke.

We have to look at how the roster got better, too.

It didn't get better by drafting elite talents when they're inexpensive and can drive your team to Superbowls, it got better by paying big money to decent free agents. The team is already as good as it can ever be under a guy like Baalke, and arguably would only head downhill from here as it's forced to use a ton more cap space for Trevor.

Keeping Baalke two years ago was as disastrous as people like myself knew it would be.
