Whites make up the majority of enlisted in combat roles because they make up the majority of the US population in general.

That's what you were going to say, right?

Basic level statistics tell you this is beyond wrong. A larger portion of the country would mean logistics would have more whites. But that's not the case.

I will just saty this, when I took the ASVAB as a senior in high school the recruiter said I could have any job I just said "if I join it'd be infantry" and he said everyone that scores high on this test chooses infantry. 

That's just the hero complex that whites and Hispanics have instinctually.
