The whole point of puberty blockers is they are not permanent. They just delay the secondary sexual changes, nothing more, nothing less. Cross gender hormone therapy, such as giving a person with a penis estrogen or a person with a vagina testosterone, would be more akin to a tattoo. With that, some of the effects are permanent and some are not.
