Which means you have to be persistent until you get the majority you want.  You have to keep growing the number of people who vote your way, not calling them garbage.

And you have to respect your opponents when they're in charge if you expect them to respect your guys when you're in charge.

We don't get whatever we want even WITH majority. Too many rats on the ship.. And those rats have to face their constituents soon enough.
