Moments ago at Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia, hundreds of students, pro-Palestine protesters, and other activists gathered in large numbers where Georgia police are making mass arrests, tasering people, launching tear gas, and reportedly firing rounds of rubber bullets at crowds and protesters. Activists and students have set up a Gaza solidarity encampment at the university. The number of arrests is not known at this time, along with clashes where bottles and other items are being thrown at police.

I'm fine with that, that's not what I'm arguing. I'm a free speech absolutist. I will not stand for censorship in the political arena, even of ideas I personally find abhorrent. Once we start down that road we all end up being silenced. I'd rather let the Mikesezs of the world blather on so everyone can see how bad the ideas are.
